Eliminate disposable paper cups

One of my recent efforts is to stop using disposable paper cups at work for my water and hot chocolate (I don't like coffee), partially motivated by the incredible portrayals below (original art by Chris Jordan). For those of you with a coffee machine or water cooler at the office:

Eliminate using disposable paper cups by bringing a reusable plastic cup or mug to the office!

I actually started bringing a water bottle to work a while back. I just fill it up in the morning from my Brita and then again during the day from the water cooler at my school. Not only do I cut down on paper cups, but I save on buying bottled water too.

the image really makes you think. AND paper cups for hot beverages are not recyclable, they have a coating that prevents recycling.

I produced an episode of my video blog, Real World Green, on this subject.
